Charles E. Macin, 74, of Chesapeake lost a courageous battle on Sunday, January 24, 2016.

Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Charles F. and Josephine Macin. He was predeceased by a brother Gregory Macin.

He retired from Ford Motor Company. He currently owned and operated Uncle Chuck’s Seafood, which was his passion. His customers, many who became his friends, came to listen to his many fish stories. He was an active member of the Great Bridge Ruritan Club.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Colette Macin; children, David Macin (Angela) and Daneen Stancill (Ray); granddaughters, Hannah Macin, Cameron and Logan Stancill; brother, Bryan F. Macin; and his beloved dog, his pal, Max.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Oman Funeral Home, 653 Cedar Road, Chesapeake, VA 23322.

A reception will follow the service at Traditions, 1201 Club House Dr., Chesapeake, VA 23322.
