Virginia Beach - David Early Kellam passed away peacefully on May 10, 2014. He was predeceased by his parents Frank Wallace and Mary Bateman Kellam and his brother Frank Wallace Kellam, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Susan Stephens Kellam and three children, Dave (Kirby), John, and Catherine. He was blessed with five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Jacqueline Kellam Bonney, her husband Donavon and his sister-in-law Bessie Salmons Kellam, five nieces and nephews, their spouses, and three great-nephews and three great-nieces.
David was a life-long member of Nimmo United Methodist Church. He was Past Master of Princess Anne Masonic Lodge and a member of Creeds Ruritan Club. David owned Kellam and Eaton Building Supplies and took pleasure in the daily interaction with friends and customers. Masonic funeral rites will be given at Princess Anne Masonic Lodge #25, located at 2849 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA on Tuesday May 13 at 7 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Nimmo United Methodist Church on Wednesday May 14 at 4 p.m.
