Over the past few days, your Foundation Trustees have received several inquiries about the 2020 Build Your Dollar (BY$) process in light of the disruptions caused by the coronavirus. Your Foundation Trustees understand that there are lots of external issues that will prevent clubs from selecting a scholarship recipient for the 2020 BY$ award year.
The Ruritan National Executive Committee met, via telephone conference, on Sunday, March 15, 2020, to address the issue of the Global Pandemic Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19). The President of the United States has declared a national emergency. In addition, many of the states where Ruritan Clubs are located have declared emergencies to deal with COVID-19.
